What is reed switch? reed switch is short for dry reed tube, also called magnetic reed switch, magnetic switch, etc. It is a kind of passive electronic switch element with contacts, which has the advantages of simple structure, small size and easy control. Its shell is generally a sealed glass tube, in which two iron elastic reed plates are installed, and an inert gas called rhodium is filled. Usually, two reeds made of special materials in a glass tube are separated. When there is a magnetic substance near the glass tube, under the action of magnetic field lines, the two reeds in the tube are magnetized to attract and contact each other, and the reeds will attract together, so that the circuits connected to the nodes are connected. When the external magnetic force disappears, the two reeds are separated due to their own elasticity, and the circuit is disconnected.
 In addition, reed switch is divided into normally closed and normally open. After knowing the working principle, it can be clearly analyzed. Normally closed reed switch means that contacts are closed under normal conditions. Another difference is that normally closed reed switch has three legs. In addition, that difference between high and low voltage of reed switch can be seen from the thickness of feet and the length of glass tube. There will be a good difference between imported and domestic reed switch, and the workmanship of domestic reed switch is much rougher than that of imported ones, which is why domestic reed switch is not adopted in the liquid level switch industry. Another point is that there is sensitivity for reed switch, so it is necessary to inform reed switch of AT value before purchasing. The smaller the value, the higher the sensitivity.

 Import reed switch besides being used in liquid level switch industry, it is also used in mobile phones, program-controlled switches, copiers, washing machines, refrigerators, cameras, disinfection cupboards, door magnets, electromagnetic relays, electronic scales, liquid level meters, remote gas meters, IC card gas meters, electronic gas meters, water meters and so on.
