When installing reed switches, soldering or welding is usually used. If the installation side (including its vicinity) is non-magnetic, it will have no influence on the movement. If it is a magnetic body, the action characteristics will change. Therefore, the installation must be confirmed before use.
1. The magnetic spring terminal is treated by tin electroplating. Therefore, common soldering irons are used for soldering. (250-360℃)。 At this time, it should be more than 1mm away from the glass end face. Heating with soldering iron for a long time will bring abnormality to the glass tube, so the treatment should be less than 5 seconds.
2. When welding, leave the glass end face more than 1mm. Welding with high current will make the magnetic spring heat, and there is a danger of abnormality in the glass tube, which must be paid attention to. In addition, due to the magnetic boundary generated by the current during welding, the reed switch will act, and the current will sometimes flow into the contact. Attention must be paid when welding two terminals at the same time.
3. Full attention must be paid to the ultrasonic welding of the reed switch and the use of ultrasonic wave welding machine near the reed switch. Gap and characteristic values sometimes change due to ultrasonic waves.
